About the vintage:
The 2024 growing season showcased the ever-changing nature of our environment and sharpened the importance of precise vineyard work. Following a warm winter, summer began earlier than expected in early June, leading to the harvest being brought forward by several days. The vintage commenced with the Syrah from the Tel Gezer vineyard, followed by the Carignan, and concluded with the Malbec from a plot in the Eshtaol vineyard, adjacent to the winery. For the first time, Malbec was included in this blend, contributing freshness, floral notes, and red fruit characteristics.
The high temperatures required close and meticulous monitoring. Despite relatively low yields in certain areas, the cool nights and significant temperature differences between day and night, along with low humidity and stable weather during the harvest months, ensured optimal ripening and high fruit quality. This resulted in balanced wines with elegant acidity, precise minerality, and subtle floral nuances.

Process:
The grapes are selectively hand-picked, keeping only the perfectly clean grapes. The harvest for the Rosé is an early one, from vineyards marked and designated specifically for this wine. Each vineyard plot is harvested separately at its optimal level of ripeness, and the clusters undergo a very gentle whole-cluster press to ensure the highest level of care and precision.
The wine is then transferred to stainless steel vats, where each vineyard plot is fermented separately to preserve its unique characteristics, culminating in a final blend that reflects the Judean terroir. Low fermentation temperatures help preserve delicate aromas. At the end of fermentation, the wine is separated from its sediment and stored in chilled stainless steel vats for several weeks to undergo natural sedimentation and clarification processes before bottling.
