About the Vintage:
The 2024 growing season showcased the ever-changing nature of our environment and sharpened the importance of precise vineyard work. Following a warm winter, summer began earlier than expected in early June, leading to the harvest being brought forward by several days.

The high temperatures required close and meticulous monitoring. Despite relatively low yields in certain areas, the unique growing conditions of the winery’s vineyard plots in Givat Yeshayahu and Even Sapir allowed the vines to benefit from cool nights and mornings even during the hot summer months.
In Givat Yeshayahu, plots in the narrow valleys allow the vines to benefit from circulating cold air that settles on the valley floor, while in Even Sapir the elevation led to significant drops in night-time and early-morning temperatures.

The wide diurnal range between day and night, together with the low humidity during harvest, slowed ripening, helped preserve acidity in the grapes, and led to optimal ripeness and high fruit quality, reflected in balanced, elegant wines with a fresh red‑fruit profile.

Process:
Each grape variety is harvested by hand at its optimal ripeness. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes undergo a crushing and destemming process.
Each variety is fermented separately to preserve its character and create a broad spectrum of wine components, after which the final blend reflects the contribution of each variety and expresses the terroir characteristics.
The wine matures for about ten months in European oak barrels and is ready to drink now but will develop beautifully for three to seven years from vintage.

Alcohol:
14.5%

Tasting Notes:
Fresh red fruit nose with spice and delicate roasting notes from the barrel. Well balanced layers of fruit flavors, tannin, and smooth texture on the palate, with a long and elegant finish.
