Flam Blanc 2011
58% Sauvignon Blanc from Shoresh vineyard and 42% Chardonnay from Mata vineyard - Judean Hills
A fresh, full-of-fruit and extra crisp wine, one that gives center stage to the freshness of the fruit. The wine is aged only in stainless-steel to preserve aromas and typical fruit flavors.
"2011 was a fantastic year. Mellow summer and late winter rain allowed optimal growing conditions. In such a year, when acidity was running very high, I wanted to create a wine that would speak of the uniqueness of this vintage. The fresh fruit along with a natural high acidity crafted a wine that is the perfect companion for a sunny afternoon and a glorious fish meal." - Golan Flam

Haaretz, Flam Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay 2008,
by Daniel Rogov, March 18th 2009
As it is every year, an unoaked blend... Crisply fresh and aromatic, showing tropical and citrus fruits along with citrus flowers and flinty minerals. Fine balance here between fruits and acidity to make the wine both lively and fascinating. Score 90.
Al Ha Shulchan Magazine, Flam Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay 2007, tasted May 2008
“This is a winning recipe by Flam. In the summer of 2008, a wonderful herbaceous nose, tropical fruit, with citrus fruits coming through and lots of vibrancy and crispness. The wine didn’t go through malolactic fermentation and was never in contact with oak. Whoever is going to enjoy this wine soon will get an extra bonus of a slight tingle on the tongue. The chardonnay contributes some depth to the sporty, lightweight body of the sauvignon. Basically we get a clean, balanced & fun summer package.”
