Flam Classico 2010
50% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc & 3% Petit Verdot all from Mata vineyard - Judean Hills
A soft and velvety wine, characterized by balance between fresh fruit and gentle spice that comes from the oak barrels it was aged in for 10 months.
"This is the __ year we produce the Classico and the reactions never seize to surprise. The Classico has become over the years a brand of its own, and all we left to do is to preserve and improve its quality with every vintage. As of now, all the grapes used for the Classico are harvested from the Judean Hills, and the wine accentuate the out-of-the-ordinary terroir of the region. The wine is soft, full of fruit and balanced, as local as it can get." - Golan Flam

Flam Classico 2001, 2004 Wine Report by Tom Stevenson
Flam Classico 2001 Israel: A blend of Merlot from the Judean Mountains and Cabernet from Upper Galilee. Striking spicy nose is savoury with a hint of animal about it. The palate is intense and spicy with a rustic edge to the appealing savoury fruit. Very good+
